Description
Cucurbita moschata
Packet size: 30 seeds
Seeds grown at Flytree Farm in Northfield, Vermont.
Yes you can grow butternut squash this far north! And you don’t have to compromise, because fruits are nearly the same size as the classic Waltham butternut and taste even better. Deeper orange in color with a richer, nuttier, more complex flavor. While they are compact plants, ‘semi-bush’ might be more accurate, because they can throw out short runners. Still a great feature for people with limited space who want to grow this reliable, short-season producer. Seed stock shared by John Austin.
We are committed to quality and care a lot about your experience growing these seeds. If you are dissatisfied with anything, please let us know, we’d like to make it right.
