Description

Solanum lycopersicum

Packet size: 30 seeds

Seeds grown at Flytree Farm in Northfield, Vermont.

You know the beloved hybrid variety, Sungold, that everyone loves and seems to swear by? The one that even dedicated open pollinated gardeners will bend the rule for? Well we’re grateful someone spent the time and energy to dehybridize this beloved orange cherry tomato. While not exactly exactly the same, these are closer than any Sungold alternative I’ve tried. They have that distinct, sweet, unctuous, tropically fruity flavor that makes a Sungold a Sungold. Early and productive and disease resistant and delicious. Plants are indeterminate. (*Sungold has been notoriously hard to dehybridize, so if you have any off-types (e.g., red color) show up please, let me know, and we can get you a new packet to try!). Seed stock shared by John Austin.

We are committed to quality and care a lot about your experience growing these seeds. If you are dissatisfied with anything, please let us know, we’d like to make it right.
